Last summer , I bought a tomato plant at a flea market for a dollar. The seller told me to transplant it burying about half the stem in the soil. So , I promptly bought a 10'' terra cotta pot and some potting soil and planted it as per instructions. I did not expect it to survive very well , let alone produce a tomato. I watered it when I remembered to. And then one fine summer morning , there it was !, the first tiny baby tomato. I had not even noticed the flowers. And then I realized . Hey! I have something here.
